It’s October 3rd. Well, technically it’s Thursday, October 6, but who’s counting? Lindsay Lohan and Jonathan Bennett reunited in honor of Mean Girls Day on Thursday, just three days after the fan-celebrated film holiday.
Lohan posted a screenshot from their FaceTime conversation to Instagram with the caption: “#nice #friends #j #Люблю #theworldisbiggerthan5 #facetime #iphone7 #stevenuniverseJOBS.”
In the 2004 flick written by Tina Fey, Lohan played new girl Cady Heron, who had a crush on high school hottie Aaron Samuels, played by Bennett. While trying to seduce Aaron, Cady pretends to need help with math and Aaron offers to tutor her.
“On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was,” Cady says in the film while gushing about her crush, who sat in front of her in class. “It’s October 3rd,” she famously responds in the film.
Since the movie’s premiere, fans have been celebrating the date annually.
Lohan, 30, seemingly missed the actual day because she was busy attending to a serious injury to her finger. As previously reported, the Parent Trap alum almost lost the ring finger on her left hand in a boating accident.
“This is the result of me trying to anchor the boat by myself,” she said in a Snapchat video on October 2, showing off her bloody appendage. “My poor finger.”
The actress was thankfully OK and had surgery shortly after to fix the injury.
