Nicki Minaj’s boo just started a full-out feud with her buddy. Meek Mill stirred the pot on Tuesday, July 21, when he tweeted that Drake doesn’t write his own raps.
“Stop comparing drake to me too….He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album [Dreams Worth More Than Money] because we found out!” Mill, 28, wrote. “The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can’t wait to [see] these guys and sit back and act like they don’t know!”
“Don’t compare me to none of the cats that don’t write they own raps either…… Lol,” he scoffed. “Shall I continue about the rest of these dweebs in the game……. Lol.”
Mills’ Twitter rant also called out the “Hold On, We’re Going Home” entertainer, 28, for allegedly not crafting his own lyrics while collaborating on Mills’ sophomore album.
“He ain’t even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album….. I don’t trick my fans! Lol,” Mill wrote. “And it ain’t about no tweet he ain’t post my album and he on it because he know we found out! It’s so much to it lol”
He added: “I pray the real live forever and all the fake get exposed!”
The Philadelphia native kept his cool while responding to fans’ comments. He even laughed it off when one follower sent him a photo of Minaj straddling Drake during a concert. He quipped: “I asked her about how she did that with a boyfriend that was b4 me! Lol. Long as I’m claiming Ya…… No lap dances….no rice no nothing for any rappers!”
The “Anaconda” rapper, 32, and Drake have been longtime friends and frequent collaborators, but according to Minaj, the two have never hooked up. She made that clear in her 2014 song “Only.”
“Yo, I never f—ed [Lil] Wayne, I never f—ed Drake,” she raps. “On my life man, f—k’s sake.”
Minaj and Mill, meanwhile, began dating last year. On Tuesday night, Mill also supported his leading lady amid her (out of nowhere!) feud with Taylor Swift pertaining to the MTV Video Music Awards. Minaj talked about the music industry’s problem with race, and how she was not nominated for Video of the Year. Swift, thinking it was a direct swing at her, responded, igniting an awkward back and forth between Minaj and her fans pointing out that the “Bad Blood” singer, 25, missed the point.
“I don’t really trip about the awards… I know they gone give em to the white kids doing it. That’s why we buy Rollie’s and s—t our own trophies!” Mill tweeted at the time. “Yall like fake winning……I been tweeting about it for weeks now. But today I wanted to show somebody how much I don’t care!”
