That was fast! Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp were spotted hanging out together after a brief split on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The pair were photographed walking in the Soho neighborhood of New York City. The When Harry Met Sally actress, 52, dressed down in denim jeans and a colorful top while the singer, 63, dressed casual in a blue sweater.
As previously reported, Ryan and Mellencamp split back in August after dating for more than three years.
"The distance got to be too much," a source told Us at the time. Ryan lives in the Big Apple whereas the "Jack & Diane" crooner resides on an Indiana farm.
Late last month, Mellencamp hinted that the pair may be open for a reconciliation. "I'm very happy with the time I've spent with Meg Ryan. She's a beautiful girl and I know that I will never, ever, ever be with a funnier girl than her. Not gonna happen. I'm grateful for the three-and-a-half years we've been together," he told the Associated Press.
"Nothing's over," he added. "Nothing's over. I never say die for anything. Do you ever quit on anything?"
The couple first stepped out together in 2010. Ryan was previously married to Dennis Quaid from 1991 to 2001; the exes share son Jack, 22. Mellencamp separated from his third ex-wife Elaine Irwin in 2011 after 18 years of marriage.
