Meghan Markle is living her best life in the U.K.
“Having the best time. 🤍,” Meghan’s best friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, September 23, alongside photos from a recent trip to visit the Sussexes in England. “There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie, and having my sweet [son] Jack along for the adventure.”
Zajfen continued, “I’ve loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes and daily adventures! Especially getting to experience so many little firsts with Jack by my side.”
The Alliance of Moms cofounder then thanked fans for “being so loving to my friend,” seemingly referring to Meghan, 45.
“To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend 🥹 It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!” she concluded.
The post featured a few photos of Meghan and Prince Harry spending time with Zajfen and her family in the U.K. In one, Meghan flashed a huge smile as she held her friend’s son at a restaurant table. Another snap showed Harry, 42, on the floor playing with Jack.
The visit comes nearly one month after Meghan and Harry returned to the U.K. from Montecito, California, where they had spent six years following their exit from their roles as working senior royals. The couple are expected to spend an extended period of time across the pond, with their two kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, attending school there.
Meghan was photographed in England for the first time since the move last week, as she was spotted meeting up with friends Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, at The Three Horseshoes near Burford, Oxfordshire.
Harry, meanwhile, has already gone back to the U.S. for an appearance at Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting in New York City on Wednesday. In his speech at the event, Harry voiced concerns about the dangers technology can pose to children.
“I come to this as a father, one who has shared countless conversations with other parents as they mourned the loss of their children to recklessly built technology,” he said.
Harry then recalled appearing on the same stage two years ago to announce that he and Meghan had launched The Parents’ Network, a community and support group for families of children who have been harmed, bullied or lost to the dangers of social media.
“And as a father, I will remind you of the faces that accompanied me the last time I stood before you,” Harry continued. “Thousands of parents grieving their children. Millions of families living with the consequences of a digital revolution that moved faster than our willingness to protect them. … Technology and the humans in charge of it are going to promise us the world. They must be accountable for the world they actually deliver.”
