Michael Buble does not want to meet this Daddy. Unlike the rest of the Internet, the singer revealed that he is not a fan of "Gangnam Style" hitmaker Psy's new single, "Daddy."
The Grammy winner visited the Today show on Tuesday, Dec. 1, where he watched the Korean pop star's viral video with co-hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
Kotb, who was much more into the pop anthem than her guest, declared on the show, "Look at Michael. He's got it!" She pointed to her guest thinking he would react positively to Psy's video.
"No, I don't got it," the Michael Buble's Christmas in Hollywood host replied. "Honestly, this just made me really sad. I don't want to live in this world anymore."
He didn't stop there. "If this is what we have to look forward to at the Grammys next year, I'm out," Buble continued as Kotb gasped in protest. Gifford, meanwhile, simply nodded her head in agreement with Buble.
"I'm sorry," Buble, 40, quipped. "I don't understand anymore. To me, I'm just over the hill. I don't get it anymore."
He then busted out some jokes — and some beats. "Oh, I got a number one hit, there we go!" he said as he created a beat. "Let me put in some dance moves, I win 8 million views!"
Buble continued mocking the hit. "I realized just watching that, something is wrong in my life. I'm now only going to make techno music," he said. "And I'm doing a sex tape! That's the next Christmas special."
Psy's video, meanwhile, has racked up far more than 8 million views. As of Thursday afternoon, it had taken the Internet by storm with 22 million-plus views in less than four days.
