Mikayla Nogueira’s estranged husband, Cody Hawken, has broken his silence about their split, five months after she announced their divorce.
Hawken, 28, spoke out for the first time amid their separation on July 2, claiming via X that Nogueira, 28, had “not held up her end of their bargain” in regard to talking about their relationship publicly, according to People.
In the message, which is a “protected post” on the social media site, Hawken reportedly asked his followers to send him videos of Nogueira “talking s***” about him, tweeting, “I think it’s time I learn exactly what has been said about me. Thank you in advance.”
Hawken followed up the post one day later by thanking “everyone” for their help gathering messages the beauty influencer allegedly posted about him.
“I belive [sic] I have enough, I got so close to ignoring the whole thing till the end but hey what can you do lol,” he wrote in another tweet, per People.
Us Weekly has reached out to Nogueira’s rep for comment.
Hawken’s social media comments come after Nogueira announced in February that the couple had split after more than two years of marriage.
“I am getting a divorce. Take a minute, take it in. I am getting a divorce,” Nogueira said in an Instagram video at the time. “Cody and I love each other so much. We love each other so much. We would do literally anything for each other. I want you to know that. I’m not going to be sharing any details whatsoever as to why Cody and I have made this decision.”
The Point of View beauty founder explained, “The main reason I am doing that is because I want to protect Cody. Cody deserves that. We both want to heal. Cody deserves to be happy. Cody deserves to be happy. So do I. This is an extremely s****y thing. No one gets married to get a divorce. Absolutely no one.”
Nogueria claimed that their split was “amicable” and they were still in touch.
“He and I were together for five years, married for two and they are some of the best memories of my life. Memories that I will cherish forever,” she added. “And I do not regret a single thing, nor does Cody.”

Nogueira, who married Hawken in July 2023, asked her followers not to speculate about the reason behind their breakup. She also insisted at the time that it was not related to Hawken’s past addiction struggles. (Nogueira previously revealed that Hawken was in rehab in April 2025 and has been open about his struggles throughout their relationship.)
“Cody and I are in this together. Please don’t pull us apart,” she continued. “Second thing I’m going to ask is — Cody and I have been very open with his struggles with addiction — and I’m going to ask you if you can please leave that out of the conversation. They are two separate things. It is hard enough as it is to be an addict and to struggle to stay sober.”
Three months later, Nogueira gave an update on her divorce proceedings before heading to court.
“The main thing I’ve learned about divorce is that you don’t just sign a piece of paper and call it a day. It takes an extremely long time,” she said in a TikTok video at the time. “For me, I at least have an end in sight.”
She later confirmed that the estranged couple had a trial date set for July.
While Hawken has remained somewhat quiet since the split announcement, Nogueira has continued to live her public-facing life.
She is also in a new relationship, confirming in March that she is dating her high school sweetheart.
“Yes he was my bf in high school and we reconnected,” Nogueira wrote via Instagram in April, keeping her new man’s name private. “We are taking it slow and please be nice to him. He’s an extremely kind soul. He won’t be in much of my content but just know he exists 😂❤️.”
