Miley Cyrus Brings Up John Mayer in Beef With Katy Perry

The "We Can't Stop" singer, 21, has an epic response to Katy Perry's comments regarding her wandering tongue. The two kissed at Miley's recent L.A. concert, and Perry joked about the lip lock this week while appearing on the Australian talk show "Sunrise." 
 
"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do," Perry, 29, explained. "And then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away."
 
The "I Kissed a Girl" singer continued, "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"

Cyrus fired back at Perry's comments on Twitter Thursday:

That "EX BOO" Miley speaks of would be Katy's off-again boyfriend John Mayer (although Russell Brand could probably qualify, too).

Katy had an equally great rebuttal:

Perry and Mayer, 36, recently broke up for the third time. Tabloids have speculated that John's wandering eye was to blame for the split, although it's likely their busy schedules played a big factor. Perry is gearing up for her Prismatic World Tour.
