Let’s keep this party going. Miss Universe judge Perez Hilton appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday, December 22, where he discussed the now-historic blunder made by host Steve Harvey, and shared his honest thoughts about Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, and the winner, Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach.
Hilton — who was one of four judges alongside former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, football legend Emmitt Smith and Scream Queens star Niecy Nash at the Las Vegas pageant on Sunday, December 20 — mused to GMA that there were “many reasons” why Miss Philippines won.
“I see Miss Colombia posting on Instagram that she’s the true winner,” sniped the gossip blogger, 37. Indeed, Gutierrez, 21, posted a photo to social media on Monday of herself in her brief moment as Miss Universe. “FOREVER YOUR MISS UNIVERSE!! COLOMBIA !!!!!!!” she wrote in Spanish alongside the pic of herself smiling and waving inside Planet Hollywood.
“There’s a reason — many reasons — that she didn’t win. Congratulations to Philippines,” added Hilton.
He also had harsh words for Harvey, 58, who “did not do his job, period,” Hilton said on the morning show.

In a separate podcast on Monday, the judge had even more unfiltered thoughts to share about the incident and Miss Colombia’s behind-the-scenes demeanor. He noticed her attitude when the judges posed the question: “Why do you think you deserve to win the Miss Universe crown?”
“I don’t know if the people at home could see this, but Miss Colombia was being straight-up diva bitch,” Hilton said of her alleged behavior. “[She was] rude to her translator. She was giving the most awful side-eye, throwing major shade. . . . Miss Colombia was not happy with the pace or the way that the translator was translating.”
He wasn’t the only one who noticed. “She came across not just to me, but several of the other judges [as] bitchy and arrogant. It was that Miss Philippines gave a better answer.”
In response to the same question, the half-German, half-Filipina beauty, 26, secured a better response. “I was like, whoa! [Wurtzbach] really brought her A game and was supercompetitve, but she deserved it. To me, there was a real beauty and grace and elegance [in her]. She was Miss Universe.”
