Layla Taylor has seemingly confirmed the identity of her girlfriend after opening up about her sexuality.

“When I slid into my girlfriend’s DM’s just hoping she was into girls,” Kelsie Chesser captioned a Tuesday, July 21, video shared via her TikTok account featuring The Real Housewives of Mormon Wives lip-syncing a viral Beyoncé clip. “Thankful she was 🙂‍↕️ #wlw #girlfriend.”

In the video, Layla mouthed Queen Bey’s words, “I didn’t have a pen and paper. I got the mic I’m like, ‘Press record.’”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Star was quick to comment on the post, writing, “Folded.”

Fans reacted to Layla’s message, wondering if the video was confirming the pair are in a romantic relationship.

“Soft launch?” one questioned, while another added, “Y’all look beautiful together, so happy for you.” A third fan commented, “Immediately knew this was about my girl,” and tagged Taylor.

Neither have publicly addressed their relationship. Us has reached out to Layla’s rep and Chessner for comment.

Layla first opened up about her sexuality during a June 29 episode of the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast, coming out as bisexual.

“It’s just something that I honestly didn’t really know how to formally address for a long period of my life. … I’m gay and I’m bi and date women and men,” she shared. “Growing up, I didn’t fit in for a lot of reasons in my childhood. I grew up in a very predominantly white area, and being a little Black girl, I already stood out so much to my peers and took that on a lot more than I feel like I realized. I always had these thoughts and I kind of laugh about it now because I would be watching shows like Pretty Little Liars and I would watch, like, Shay Mitchell kissing a girl. I was like, ‘Wait, why is that hot?’”

She continued, “But I didn’t know what those feelings were because I didn’t have queer representation around me of [someone] I could look at it and be like, ‘OK, this is normal.’ It wasn’t necessarily that I had parents — or I was Mormon at one point — but I didn’t necessarily have that pressure to not do that. I just didn’t have people around me that modeled that.”

Before she tied the knot with her now ex-husband Clayton Wessell, Layla wasn’t sure if it was “just a phase” she was going through.

“I would just kind of underplay it for a long period of my life,” the reality TV star, who shares two sons with Wessell, explained. “[Now] I just feel like I’m finally in the era that I’m over not being truly myself and I’m over not showing every part of Layla to the world. I’m very proud now to be out.”
