Short hair, don't care. Natalie Portman is the latest star to join the beauty fray of shoulder-length locks.

The Oscar-winning actress, 32, attended the Paris Thor: The Dark World premiere with her French-born husband Benjamin Millepied, 36, in tow on Wednesday, Oct. 23, debuting a fresh new look: Her hair several inches shorter providing an added dimension to her new, dip-dyed, honey-colored ombre locks. The mom to 2-year-old Aleph selected a floral-patterned Dior dress and Charlotte Olympia heels to wear to the event. The actress, who infused her look with some warmth ahead of the coming colder months, kept her makeup to a minimum for a youthful, fresh-faced appearance. (Portman, Millepied and son Aleph now call the City of Lights their home; Millepied is the new director of the Paris Opera Ballet.)

The Black Swan star surfaced at the London premiere of the superhero flick just one day before wearing a chic, sleek ponytail and a gorgeous, dramatic from the same designer. She reprises her role as Thor's earthly love interest, Jane Foster, in the sequel. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston also star in the film.

Portman, who is 5'3'', shared recently in a pre-taped episode of The Graham Norton Show, what it was like to kiss her 6'4'' costar Hemsworth. The self-deprecating star quipped on the British talk show, "I was mainly cast in the role because I can make anyone look huge when they stand next to me. I’m extraordinarily short. They usually had a ramp for me to walk up so I could land somewhere near his face."

Thor: The Dark World hits theaters on Nov. 8.
