Oh, baby! Natalie Portman set the record straight and pointed out during her visit to the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she is not as pregnant as she looks.
“It’s funny because I’m a small person in general and you show a lot faster and a lot more when you’re small,” the 35-year-old actress, expecting her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied, explained to host Jimmy Fallon during her Tuesday, November 29, appearance. “Everyone thinks I’m about to pop and about to give birth at any minute and I have months to go!” (A source close to the Israeli-born star tells Us, “Natalie’s baby is due around the Oscars,” which will be in February 2017.)

The mom of 5-year-old Aleph also shared a recent anecdote to illustrate her point: “I went to this store the other day to buy water, and the guy at the checkout counter was like, ‘Almost, huh?’ And I was like, ‘No, not even close.'”
Despite the constant misconception that her due date is close, the Oscar winner is ecstatic about her growing brood.
“Of course she is happy,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in September. “She loves her family and her life and is happy to add to it. Everyone is thrilled.”

The Black Swan actress first debuted her bump at the premiere of her film Planetarium at the Venice Film Festival Thursday, September 8. She draped her new curves in a white one-shoulder Dior gown on the red carpet.
While chatting with Fallon, 42, Portman revealed that she was surprised people didn’t catch on sooner that she was expecting again. “I thought everyone would know because I wasn’t drinking,” the Jackie star said.
“Yeah, I just thought you were clean living,” the host quipped, referring to the fact that Portman sticks to a vegan diet. “I thought, ‘Oh, that’s Natalie. She rolls like that!'”
