Just another day at the races . . . with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!
Prince William and Princess Kate (their preferred monikers) made their first public appearance together in weeks at Saturday's Epsom Derby, part of "Derby Day" in Epsom, England.
Kate, 29, was appropriately regal in a cream-colored jacket, short skirt, high-heeled shoes and a smart, brown hat. She joined her new hubby William, 28, and her brother-in-law Prince Harry — both of them handsome and decked out in top hats and tails with bright waistcoats. See more photos of the couple at the Derby.
The trio joined Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip plus Prince Andrew — all to cheer on the Queen's horse, Carlton House, in the day's big race. Sadly, although the steed was a favorite to win, Carlton (a gift from Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai) placed third behind winner Pour Moi and runner-up Treasure Beach.
The royal newlyweds' last and only post-honeymoon appearance together was during last week's private Palace meeting with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Their first "official" appearance is slated for June 9, where they will be guests of honor for a charity event.
They'll touch down on North American soil in late June — visiting Canada and finally California in their first overseas trip as the Duke and Duchess.
