Bend it? More like snatch it like Beckham! New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. became a trending topic on the Internet Sunday, Nov. 23, after he made an unbelievable one-handed catch as the Giants faced its division rival, the Dallas Cowboys.
The Giants rookie receiver was seen scrambling down the field when he flew up, caught the ball with his right hand, and fell back into the end zone. Moments later, MetLife Stadium erupted, along with the Internet.
"This is sick! Put this to music!" NBC sports announcer Cris Collinsworth commented. "I don't think he stepped out either!" Still giddy and reeling from the amazing one-handed grab, Collinsworth (a former wide receiver himself) continued: "That may be the greatest catch I've ever seen… You have to be kidding me! That is impossible. That is absolutely impossible what he just did."
Other star athletes also reacted to the stunning catch on Sunday evening including Victor Cruz, LeBron James, and Tom Brady.

Gisele Bundchen's quarterback husband, who has seen plenty of amazing catches during his career, said he saw the play and "couldn't believe" his eyes. "I kind of started laughing out loud," Brady said on the Dennis and Callahan show. "Ironically, just before that, they were showing those catches of him in the pregame, and then all of a sudden he did it again. To do it on a ball like that — the ball was almost behind his head, and it barely even bobbled in his hand. It like stuck and then just started rolling and he got it to his body. That was unbelievable. That guy is going to be a hell of a player."
Along with the stars were plenty of memes which hilariously spread far and wide across the Internet.

As for the man of the hour? Naturally, Beckham also participated in the craze. After excitedly retweeting NBA superstar James' comments, the 22-year-old New Orleans native even shared a meme of the two going head-to-head. "Me and my favorite athlete," he wrote alongside the funny photo.
