The numbers are in! Team Russia takes the gold with the most liked Instagram photo from the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, with Team USA not too far behind.
The number-one most liked Instagram photo from Sochi was posted by Russian actress Ksenia Borodina. The shot of Borodina before the closing ceremonies has garnered over 62.8k likes since this past Sunday.
Even though he didn’t win a medal at the games this year, Shaun White‘s shot taken before he walked in the opening ceremonies did earn him silver with 47.5K likes, the second most likes from Sochi on Instagram.
The member of Team USA who saw the most overall engagement on Instagram throughout the games was bronze medalist Nick Goepper. Not too surprising, considering the 19-year-old heartthrob announced that he will be choosing one lucky lady from social media to take on a post-Olympic date!
