Love trumps all! Omarosa Manigault is engaged to John Allen Newman, the Apprentice star confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday, July 25. Manigault, 42, said yes in front of Newman’s congregation at The Sanctuary @ Mt. Calvary in Jacksonville, FL. The pair of less than a year met while she was teaching at Howard University.
She showed off her massive ring in a photo on July 25. The bride-to-be, who’s also a pastor, at Weller Street Baptist Church in Los Angeles, wore a peach embroidered dress with a tulle underlay. She also conveniently sported a flawless manicure, perfect for showing off her huge new rock.
This won’t be Manigault’s first trip down the aisle. She married Aaron Stallworth in 2000; the two divorced in 2005.
And in 2010, she began dating the late Michael Clarke Duncan. After The Green Mile actor suffered a heart attack in July 2012, Omarosa tried to save his life by performing CPR. Sadly, Clarke succumbed to complications from the attack on September 3, 2012.
It’s definitely been an exciting year for Omarosa. The reality star was named director of African American Outreach for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, per a Monday, July 18, announcement. "It's really an extension of the work that the coalition has already been doing," she told MSNBC, referring to the National Diversity Coalition for Trump, where she was vice chairman. "And so I'm very happy to take up that cause for Donald Trump."
