Baby on board! Peta Murgatroyd shared a very revealing selfie of her growing baby bump with fans on Instagram on Thursday, November 17.
The Dancing With the Stars pro posed in a black bra and thong and placed a hand on her pregnant belly as she snapped the bathroom selfie.
“Oiling this buttercup up… 33 weeks,” the Australian dancer, 30, captioned the photo.
Murgatroyd and her fiancé, fellow DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, are expecting their first child, a baby boy, early next year.
The dancer hasn’t been shy about posting baby bump selfies on social media throughout her pregnancy, and she shared her tips for taking the perfect photo in a Facebook Live chat with Us Weekly on November 11.
“Well I think it’s all from the right angle, to be honest with you … just getting into the right positions,” she said. “It’s so silly. It’s funny because when some people see me, they’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re so small. … In the selfie the other day some people are, ‘Oh, my God, you’re huge. You are massive.’”
The DWTS champ, who won the Mirrorball Trophy with deaf model Nyle DiMarco last season and Donald Driver in season 14, also gushed over how excited Chmerkovskiy – who is known as the bad boy of the ballroom for his fiery arguments with the shows’ judges — is about becoming a father, and said he’s become “a whole lot softer” since her pregnancy.
“I think maybe how close Maks and I have actually become with this whole period,” she told Us of her favorite thing about being pregnant. “It’s such a change for both of you. It’s not just about us. It really does change the man too. Maks is super involved and it’s brought us really, really close. … It’s an amazing experience.”
Murgatroyd said the 36-year-old Ukrainian dancer can’t wait to become a dad. “I think he’s going to be the most loving, caring father. … I think he’s just going to spoil him rotten and I’ll have to pull the reins a little bit,” she joked to Us.
