Taylor Momsen isn't afraid of a little controversy.
The 17-year-old Pretty Reckless frontwoman willfully lifted up her shirt during her band's Sunday performance at the Download Festival in Castle Donington, England. Careful not to expose her nipples, Momsen made sure to cover up with several strips of black electrical tape.
"I'm an extremist and I very much enjoy pushing the boundaries when it comes to fashion," Momsen told Us Weekly at the Kids' Choice Awards in April. "I don't care what people have to say about my style. Fashion's not for everyone. I'm not asking you to wear it."
After announcing her Gossip Girl departure in May, Momsen said she's finally able to focus 100% on her music career.
"It's all I ever wanted to do with my life," she told Us. "I wanted to make records and tour, so it's very exciting that our first record is coming out and people can actually hear it."
