The wedding was held at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California, and the couple exchanged vows under an archway of pink flowers interwoven with greenery and vines, an eyewitness tells Us.
“It was a very emotional ceremony with a lot of tears,” the eyewitness says. “Anna was especially overcome with emotion as Skylar read personal vows, and when she looked over at her family.”
The bride wore a princess-style Reem Acra gown and Imagine Vince Camuto wedges for the 20-minute ceremony, while the groom donned a black Ermenegildo Zegna tux with a pink boutonniere, in keeping with the pink-and-peach theme, and ALDO shoes.
Prior to the pair’s nuptials, the 33-year-old actress teased her excitement for the big day on Instagram with an “It’s the day of the show, y’all!” meme from the 1997 film Waiting for Guffman. She captioned the post with two heart eye emojis.
Fellow Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow, who was a bridesmaid, also joined in on the anticipation, sharing a shot of herself with the couple at a press event. “Award High Five because these two nerds/amazing friends of mine are getting MARRIED today! I [love] you both so much,” Snow wrote.
Costar Rebel Wilson, who joined about 100 guests at the wedding, also shared a pic with Camp on Instagram, writing, “Guess who’s getting married today? HINT: it’s not me x.” Meanwhile, Elizabeth Banks posted a photo saying that she was “pretty excited” to watch the couple wed.
“After the ceremony everyone had cocktails in the vineyards followed by a reception,” the eyewitness tells Us. “There was a dance floor on the edge of the vineyards and a live band performed.”
Earlier this year, the happy couple announced their engagement via Instagram. “I asked. She said yes!!!” Astin, 28, captioned an Instagram photo of himself and his future bride showing off her ring on January 2.
The costars made their first public appearance as a couple in June 2013. A source told Us Weekly at the time that the duo knew each other prior to working on Pitch Perfect and “met through mutual friends.”
“Skylar was talking about how he loved her from the first day they met,” a second insider told Us.
Camp was previously married to Michael Mosley for three years. The Pan Am actor filed for divorce in April 2013, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
