#PrayforKanye Trends on Twitter as Kanye West Is Hospitalized

Fans are rallying behind Kanye West. Shortly after the rapper was hospitalized on Monday, November 21, the hashtag #PrayforKanye began to trend on Twitter.

“No matter how controversial he may be at times Kanye West has so much love that he tries to spread, this is heartbreaking #PrayForKanye,” one commenter wrote.

As previously reported, police responded to a medical welfare around 1:20 p.m. PT in L.A. According to TMZ, West, 39, was at his trainer Harley Pasternak’s home at the time and was “acting erratically.” He was restrained and taken to UCLA Medical Center to be evaluated.

A source told Us Weekly that West has “been suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation and went to the hospital today on his own will and under the consultation of his physician.”

The incident occurred hours after West decided to cancel the last 21 concerts of his Saint Pablo tour dates. On Saturday, he began his show in Sacramento, California, 90 minutes late and ended it after only 30 minutes. While on stage, he ranted about Beyonce, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton. Last week, he revealed that he didn’t vote in the election, but that he would have voted for Clinton’s opponent Donald Trump.

As Us reported, Kim Kardashian canceled her plans to be by West’s side on Monday night. She was scheduled to attend the Angel Ball in NYC along with sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, which would have marked her first red carpet appearance since her scary Paris robbery on October 3.

The famous reality family has yet to release a statement about the matter. Kourtney and Khloé, however, posted photos from the star-studded event on social media.
