William chatted with clergymen and wedding guests inside the chapel. The groom — who awaits the arrival of his bride Kate Middleton — wore a Royal Navy Number One Dress uniform.

The Prince (soon-to-be Duke) has held the rank of Admiral of the Royal Navy since 2006. Featured on his red uniform: a blue sash symbolizing the Order of the Garter, and a "garter star," a silver eight-pointed star with a centre medallion portraying the enamelled red Cross of St George surrounded by enamelled blue garter inscribed with the motto of the Order "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" (Evil be to him that thinks evil).

In addition to six medals of honor, William's wedding day attire also featured a royal navy sword and Aiguillettes, ceremonial braiding on his right shoulder.

William spent his last night as an unmarried man at Clarence House with brother Harry and their dad Prince Charles. A source told Us: "It'll be great for the two brothers to be together before the big day. I'm sure Harry can help William with any last minute nerves."
