Reunited and it feels royally good!
Prince William is back where he belongs: in Great Britain, with wife Kate Middleton!
After a six-week deployment off the coast of Argentina in the Falkland Islands, the Duke of Cambridge, 29, is back home, St. James Palace confirmed to Us Weekly Wednesday. The couple will reportedly be spending the next several days together in private — with no planned public appearances.
The Palace rep adds that William is "now on leave" for the next few days, and will soon return to his post in Anglesey.
"Don't expect to see too much of William for the next four weeks. He'll be working in Anglesey and getting back to life here again," a Palace aide tells Us.
Adds another source: "William is with Kate at Kensington Palace now. It will have been a very emotional reunion. This is the longest they have ever been apart."
The future King's routine assignment as a Search and Rescue Pilot for the Royal Air Force (protested by some Argentinians) meant that he and the Duchess, 30, had to spend their first Valentine's Day as a married couple apart — although he did manage to send a card and flowers to Kate, who he wed April 29 of last year.
Kate didn't sit idle while her man was 8,000 miles away: She made a slew of official royal appearances, including a Diamond Jubilee tour with Queen Elizabeth, and her first-ever public speech at a hospice center in Ipswich.
