Rapper Chinx was killed in a drive-by shooting in Queens, N.Y. in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 17, ABC reports. Chinx, whose real name is Lionel Pickens, 31, was a member of rapper French Montana's Coke Boys.
The shooting happened just after 4 a.m. ET on Queens Boulevard. According to police, Chinx was killed after suffering several gunshots inside a Porsche. Another passenger was also wounded and is in critical condition.
French Montana has not publicly commented on the loss, but many other rappers have tweeted. Rob Kardashian, the brother of French Montana's ex Khloe Kardashian, posted an Instagram shot, writing, "Gone way too soon,,,,, rest in peach CHINX,,, another brother gone ,,, this is terrible :("
