Act natural! Former couple Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal avoided an awkward run-in in a parking lot on Monday, Aug. 5. According to The Daily Mail, Witherspoon, 37, was walking past Gyllenhaal, 32, as he was getting into his car.
The exes, who called it quits in 2009 after nearly three years of dating, happened to park in the same Beverly Hills lot. The Daily Mail reports that the Rendition costars didn't say hello, but noted they may not have noticed each other.
Whether Gyllenhaal saw her or not, Witherspoon was looking her best having just left a hair salon. The actress gave a big smile to photographers while showing off her pretty blonde locks. The mom of three also looked stylish in a blue dress shirt, short red skirt and colorful platform sandals.
When the couple split in 2009, an insider told Us Weekly that "no one cheated" and "there was no drama." But a source said that Witherspoon "really worried that they didn't have enough in common."
Witherspoon married CAA agent Jim Toth in March 2011, and the couple welcomed their first child together, son Tennessee, in September 2012. (Witherspoon is also mom to daughter Ava, 13, and Deacon, 9, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.) Gyllenhaal, meanwhile, is currently dating 24-year-old Sports Illustrated model Alyssa Miller.
