Forget the umbrella, Rihanna’s fans are standing under pizza boxes. The Grammy-winning singer sent boxes of pizza to her fans in Manchester, England, on Wednesday, June 29, when it poured as concertgoers waited in line for hours to get into her show.
“Rihanna just sent 20 boxes of pizza and few towels to dry off for fans that have been queuing all day for today’s show,” an unofficial Twitter account for the singer’s Anti World Tour wrote, along with a photo of two fans enjoying the cheesy treats.
Other excited fans who were waiting to get into her show at the outdoor Emirates Old Trafford stadium shared their own snapshots of their Rihanna-gifted pizzas on social media, along with messages of thanks.
“After waiting for @rihanna all day. She sent pizza for us … unfortunately for the others, Aron doesn’t share food …,” one fan captioned a photo of himself about to chow down into a pepperoni slice.

“RIH SENT US PIZZA,” another fan wrote.
According to the Manchester Evening News, several of the boxes were even signed by the 28-year-old singer.
“We couldn’t believe it,” fan Daniel Reading told the paper. “The pizza was only sent to our side of the queue. It was sent with a message from Rihanna, apologizing for the weather.”
Though RiRi pleased many with her concert and the free food, not everyone was excited to have her in town. According to the Manchester Evening News, people who lived as far as 10 miles away from the venue complained on Twitter about the noise from the concert.
