Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are having a tough week. Three days after announcing their split, the pair's 3-year-old son Julian has reportedly been involved in a minor car accident.
Entertainment Tonight reports that the incident occurred on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles on Feb. 27. Julian was sitting in the backseat of the car at the time, and was with his grandmother and a family assistant. The trio were being followed by paparazzi. (No other information was provided at the time.)
Earlier this week, Thicke, 36, and Patton, 38, announced in a joint statement that they are separating after nearly nine years of marriage.
"Robin wanted to save their marriage, but it was Paula's choice and she ended it," an insider told Us of the pair. "Robin does not want this divorce."
The "Blurred Lines" crooner stepped out for the first time post-split on Thursday as he arrived in Washington D.C. to gear up for his next show. I'm "trying to get her back," he said of Patton to TMZ cameras. The Baggage Claim actress, meanwhile, was most recently spotted in L.A. without her wedding ring on Feb. 26.
