Quack Attack moves! Sadie Robertson may not have proper dance training to speak of, but the 17-year-old is clearly giving it her all getting ready for Dancing With the Stars‘ season 19 premiere.
Paired with veteran DWTS pro Mark Ballas, the Duck Dynasty darling admits that until now, she’s kept her moves under wraps.
“My dance skills kind of stay in my room . . . it’s only for me and my mirror to see!” Robertson, who debuted her couple’s nickname, “Team Quack Attack,” on Instagram, admitted in a new rehearsal video released by ABC.
Robertson, whose family’s duck-call business is documented on A&E’s mega-smash reality series Duck Dynasty, has few qualms about making her ballroom debut on Sept. 15. “I’m more excited than nervous,” the Louisiana teen told Us Weekly when her casting was announced earlier this month. “I’m not really a shy person . . . but once the show actually starts, I’m sure I’m going to get nervous.”
One of the best ways Robertson is staying stress-free during DWTS rehearsals? She spends plenty of time goofing off on breaks. In one cute candid moment from rehearsal, Ballas makes Robertson laugh by breaking into an impromptu hoedown.
