Sandra Bullock emerged from hiding again — and her wedding ring was nowhere in sight.
During its Monday night broadcast, Entertainment Tonight showed a photograph of the star taking a hike in Northern California. In the snap reportedly taken last Friday, a somber looking Bullock wears a hat and scarf and little makeup. Noticeably missing from her left hand: the vintage platinum band with intertwining diamonds that she has worn since wedding Jesse James nearly five years ago.
Bullock 45, has only been seen once before in public since her husband's cheating scandal erupted in early March. (Since Michelle "Bombshell" McGee claimed an 11-month affair with James, four other women have come forward claiming involvement with the motorcycle mogul. James, 41, is said to be seeking treatment at an undisclosed facility.)
On March 31, the Oscar winner — concealed by a floppy green hat and umbrella-bearing assistants — briefly left her Hollywood Hills home to visit the Beverly Hills home of her friend, investor Gabriel Brenner.
How is she doing now? "She is devastated but being methodical and trying to make the right decision about what to do next," a Bullock source says in the latest issue of Us Weekly. She's reading a lot of scripts, because it takes her mind off everything..She just wants to get on with the next phase of her life."
