Santa’s Wish List Reveals He Wants Fun on a Carnival Cruise (Exclusive)

In an unexpected turn at North Pole headquarters, Us spotted Santa working on a new kind of list — one not meant for kids, elves or reindeer. This time, the big guy was drafting a personal “Wish List” of his own, reflecting a holiday season that pushed even him to the brink. Instead of toys and trains, his notes reveal a Santa dreaming of something he rarely schedules: Fun for himself.

Us worked directly with the North Pole Director of Post-Holiday Cheer, who confirmed the list was written in Santa’s own hand complete with cookie crumbs, dramatic underlining, and a few candy cane smudges. Among the most surprising entries: “Slay on a ship, not sleigh all night,” “Fun that doesn’t involve climbing down the chimney with a bad back” and “Sleep. Like … the kind you don’t set an alarm for.” One elf admitted, “I was so worried I had to bring in the GOAT … Mrs. Claus.”

Mrs. Claus wasn’t surprised by the items on the list, from “A chef-prepared dining experience” to “No chimneys. Zero.” and the dramatic “Reindeer on PTO. Please. I beg.” She’s seen the toll the holiday hustle takes and has been encouraging Santa to focus on himself for once. “He gives so much,” she told Us. “But even Santa needs fun that isn’t part of the job.”

Multiple references to Carnival Cruise Line were circled twice alongside notes about sunshine, waterslides, and laughter without deadlines. And perhaps the most relatable entry? “No lists.” If this draft is any indication, Santa’s ready for the kind of fun that’s effortless and puts him first, the kind waiting on a Carnival vacation.
