Scott Disick is in a dark place — again. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 32, is suffering from kidney trouble, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
“He’s been sick for awhile, and his drinking is making it worse,” says the insider. “He’s been told numerous times that if he doesn’t stop, he’ll need a liver transplant or dialysis.” (According to the National Kidney Foundation, chronic alcohol consumption can cause liver and kidney dysfunction.)
Despite several rehab stints in the last few years — most recently at the luxury center Cliffside Malibu last October — the dad of Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 17 months, is still active on the club circuit. (Disick’s rep says it is “not true” that he is ill.)
On May 15, in fact, he partied at Cannes’ Gotha Club with Kendall Jenner, 20. There, he was spotted kissing 20-year-old model and rumored girlfriend Christine Burke. He’s also recently been linked to model Megan Blake Irwin, who he went to dinner with at Nobu in L.A. May 6.
Back at home, ex Kourtney Kardashian — who broke up with Disick after he disappeared on a drinking bender in July — and her sisters Khloé and Kim are keeping up with Disick’s antics. Adds the source, “The family is appalled and concerned by his drinking.”
