Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's love may be unconventional, but it's also unconditional. Seventeen months after Lowe proposed on the season 17 finale of The Bachelor, the Texas native is more smitten with his wife than ever. He even wrote a blog post about it on his Patheos page.
Titled "Caught in Her Web," the Aug. 22 post details "how and when" Lowe realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Giudici. "I guess it was right around the time we took a little trip to Thailand," he wrote. "Sure, there were two other girls on the trip, but something was settling in my heart about Catherine and I knew it was there to stay — I didn't want to say goodbye to her…ever."
The post goes on to praise Giudici as "sweet, kind, smokin' hot, goofy, caring, and funny." It was because of those qualities — among others — that Lowe fell in love, not just with her, but also "with the idea of going through life with her."
That feeling was one he'd waited 29 years to have. "She had me stuck in her web of love and there was no getting out," he wrote of his wife, whom he calls his best friend. "For the first time in my life, I wanted to live my life for someone other than myself."
The two have now been happily married for exactly seven months, and judging by Lowe's gushing blog post, they're still very much in the honeymoon period. His reason for the public display of affection? "Sometimes I just feel like telling people how incredibly grateful I am for God's blessings in my life," he explained, "and Catherine is certainly at the top of the list."
He added, "So in conclusion, my wife is hot and I'm in love."
