“Yes, thank God [I’m OK now],” the actress, 44, told Talk cohost Sharon Osbourne while recalling the incident. “Hopefully everyone on the plane is doing fine now too, because it was very destructive.”

As previously reported, Blair was taken off the plane on a stretcher after a mid-flight outburst. The actress had been vacationing in Cancun, Mexico, with her ex Jason Bleick and their 5-year-old son, Arthur, for Father’s Day.

“I am someone who should never drink, and I rarely do, and I don’t drink anymore, but I was going through something,” Blair explained on Wednesday. “I had a glass of wine and someone gave me a pill that I thought was something that I’d taken before … it was something completely different … and I had a total psychotic blackout.”

Blair said the experience was “horrible and frightening” and that she was especially embarrassed that paparazzi had captured the incident outside of LAX.

“I had empathy for myself because it was so out of character for me especially now that I’m a mother,” Blair continued. “I was taken to … a clinic to get an IV and get an assessment … my son was with his father and he had slept through it … I knew he was going to sleep so that’s why I took this pill … [but] bad choice all around — I totally own it.”

After the incident made headlines, Blair issued an apology.

“I made a big mistake yesterday. After a lovely trip with my son and his dad, I mixed alcohol with medication, and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret,” the actress said via a statement to Vanity Fair on June 23. “My son was with his dad asleep with his headphones on, so there is that saving grace. I take this very seriously, and I apologize to all of the passengers and crew that I disturbed and am thankful to all of the people who helped me in the aftermath. I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes and am filled with shame over this incident. I am truly very sorry.”

Nowadays, the actress steers clear of alcohol. Blair said that at a recent event, a friend offered her a glass of champagne, which she declined.

“I was like, ‘Google me,'” Blair said with a laugh on The Talk.
