After only eight months of marriage, Shahs of Sunset star Mike Shouhed’s wife, Jessica Parido, is pulling the plug on their marriage. According to Shouhed’s rep, Parido has filed for divorce from her longtime love after learning he had been unfaithful.
“Two years ago, before they were married, Mike made a terrible mistake and cheated on Jessica,” his rep tells Us Weekly in a statement. “She recently discovered a text message and he came completely clean to her. He feels so terrible. Jessica is the most amazing woman in the world. He's begged for her back on hands and knees. He's offered his heartfelt apology to her. He loves Jessica and always will."
According to court documents obtained by E!, Parido cited irreconcilable differences and lists their separation date as Aug. 1. A source told the network, which is a part of the NBCUniversal family, that there had been issues between the couple and that their split will be detailed on the upcoming fifth season of the hit Bravo reality show.
Shouhed and Parido dated for almost five years before tying the knot this past March at the Biltmore in Los Angeles. Their June 2014 engagement was also captured by cameras.
Season 5 kicks off this spring.
