Olympian in training! Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, wants to be just like Simone Biles. The U.S. women’s gymnastics team member engaged in a Twitter conversation with Kardashian on Sunday, August 7, and Monday, August 8, encouraging Kardashian’s little one to be her “mini me.”
“North is watching @Simone_Biles in awe,” Kardashian tweeted Sunday night while watching the women’s gymnastics qualifiers, during which Biles earned a spot in the all-around competition. “She’s rolling around on the bed pretending to copy her lol.”
Biles responded to the social media maven on Monday, tweeting: “Aww that is just too cute! she totally needs a #gkSimone leo and she’ll be my mini me!”
Kardashian previously revealed that her 3-year-old daughter is interested in gymnastics after NBC Olympics posted a video of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wishing Biles good luck ahead of the summer games in Rio de Janeiro last week.
“Hey, Simone!” the 35-year-old reality star said in the clip. “It’s Kim Kardashian West, and I just wanted to wish you the best of luck in the Olympics. We’re all rooting for you back at home.”
Biles then tweeted back at Kardashian, telling the reality star: "@KimKardashian Thank You So Much!!! By the way I’m obsessed with North! So adorable.”
“She just started gymnastics! Maybe she can show you some moves?” Kardashian replied to the Olympic athlete.
North has previously taken a liking to ballet and piano classes, alongside cousin Penelope Disick.
Aly Raisman, along with Biles, will represent Team USA during the women’s gymnastics individual all-around final on Tuesday, August 9.
