After her supposed overdose attempt, Sinead O’Connor wrote a dramatic new note to her kids and their fathers on Monday, Nov. 30, blaming certain family members by name for provoking her suicidal thoughts.
“Jake, Roisin, Jr., frank, Donal, Eimear, I never wanna see you again,” the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer, 48, wrote to her exes on Facebook. “You stole my sons from me. Then you had hypocrisy to come to hospital and then not be here when I wake and not pick up phone? I’m s–t to you.”
In return, O’Connor had some things to say to her four kids including her sons Jake, 28, Shane, 11, and Yeshua, 8, and her daughter, Roisin, 19. “You’re dead to me. You killed your mother.”
However, her wrath was largely directed against her exes. “You stole my sons. You left me alone for twelve weeks! Why did I have to hear it was your hypocritical asses here while I was unconscious?? And now you’re Gone and not picking up phone?” O’Connor wrote. “You are child stealing murderers, I never want to see or hear from any of you again. Why were you here when you’re the ones who put me here???? And where the f–k are you now??? Murderers. Liars. Hypocrites. All of you. You caused this.”
On Sunday, O’Connor posted a disturbing Facebook post, claiming that she had overdosed. After “several calls” were made to police about the social media update, a spokesman at Dublin, Ireland’s Pearse Street Garda Station told Us Weekly that the songstress was “safe and well.”
In her original post, O’Connor wrote that her family abandoned her following her hysterectomy this past August. “I have taken an overdose,” she wrote on Sunday. “There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I’m at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name. There is only so much a woman can be expected to bear.”
