Peg, is that you?! Sofia Vergara shared a fun Instagram photo of herself on Wednesday, Sept. 2, dressed up as Peggy Bundy, the loud, bonbon-addicted housewife Katey Sagal made famous in the 1980s and ‘90s sitcom Married With Children.
The Modern Family star, 43, donned a giant red wig styled in a wavy pouf and wore a low-cut, skintight black top that showed off her ample assets to match Peg’s iconic style. “Do you like this look, Ed O’Neill?” she teased her TV husband in the caption with laughing/crying emojis.
O’Neill, 69, who has played dad Jay Pritchett on Modern Family since it debuted in 2009, previously rose to popularity as Peg’s miserable shoe-salesman husband, Al Bundy, on Fox’s raunchy sitcom, which ran for 11 seasons from 1987 to 1997.
Though Vergara plays a wife now, she’ll soon be one in real life. The Colombian actress is engaged to hunky Magic Mike XXL star Joe Manganiello. As Us Weekly reported exclusively in July, the beautiful duo are set to wed on Nov. 22 at Florida’s Breakers Palm Beach Resort.
