A li'l love at Li'l Dizzy's! Hot new couple Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello got cozy on a weekend date at a local New Orleans hotspot, and Us Weekly has the exclusive first look at the pair.
The Modern Family star and the True Blood hunk stopped by the Louisiana restaurant on Sunday, July 6, to sample some fried grub and to spend some quality time together. Us Weekly broke the news of the romantic pairing on Monday.
"They sat very close to each other and would lean in to kiss," an onlooker tells Us Weekly exclusively. "It was mostly Sofia leaning in to kiss his cheek or his lips."
"She was also rubbing his arms," the source continued. "They were very cute together and you could tell that they have a lot to talk about. It was loud in the restaurant so they leaned into each other to talk and would whisper in each other's ears."
The Magic Mike actor, 37, went casual for his date with his new love, wearing a cotton T-shirt and a backward baseball cap with sunglasses. Vergara, 41, kept her shades on inside the Nola restaurant as well, opting for a blue sleeved top.
While they remained somewhat incognito in their sunglasses, the insider adds that the pair was "very friendly and took pictures with other diners." When they weren't snapping photos and whispering sweet nothings into one another's ears, the two stars noshed on a shared plate of fried chicken.
Vergara has been spending time in Louisiana to film her upcoming movie Don't Mess With Texas with Reese Witherspoon. After splitting from her fiance Nick Loeb earlier this year, she seems to have bounced back, getting a visit from Manganiello on location.
