But what about Caskett?! Castle shippers might still be reeling from Kate Beckett and Richard Castle’s wedding on the most recent season of the hit ABC crime procedural, and now actress Stana Katic has walked down the aisle (for real this time).
The Canadian-born star, 37, wed her longtime love Kris Brkljac at a private family monastery on the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia, her rep tells Us Weekly. Though Katic has been quiet about her real-life relationship in the past, her rep tells Us that Brkljac is a business efficiency consultant and that the pair have been together for many years.
The couple shared a black and white photo of their overlapping hands with their new wedding bands following their nuptials.
In her downtime from Castle, Katic has been working on The Tourist, in which she has an unnamed role and that is scheduled to hit the big screen later this year.
The season 7 finale of Castle airs Monday, May 11. The show has not been renewed for season 8 at this time.
