Where’s Adrian? Three Rocky fans got the selfie of a lifetime on Saturday, Jan. 17 in Philadelphia. Friends Peter Rowe, Jacob Kerstan, and Andrew Wright dashed to the top of the famous steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, as immortalized in the very first Rocky film back in 1976, and found a surprise at the top.
Star Sylvester Stallone, who famously played the big screen boxer Rocky Balboa and earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actor in 1977, was at the top of the steps, filming the seventh Rocky installment, Creed.
The validity of the photo was confirmed by Stallone’s publicist Michelle Bega to the Philadelphia Inquirer. According to the fans’ interview with the paper, they made it to the top when they heard, “You guys got up here pretty fast. You’re making me look bad.”
They turned around to find none other than Rocky himself (Stallone is now 68 years old). Creed costars Michael B. Jordan and is set to come out in 2016.
