Tamar Braxton Admits Ariana Grande Can Sing, But Insists “There’s One Mariah”

Grammy-nominated Tamar Braxton, whose newest album, Calling All Lovers, hits stores Sept. 11, joins Us Weekly to play The Name Game. In the video, the singer-reality star shares her love for her oldest sister, Toni Braxton, and knowledge of celebrity gossip. Of course, the video also features highlights from her show, Braxton Family Values, and a sneak peak of what’s coming for her next album.

Celebrities may have fans, but are also fans themselves. When Ariana Grande’s name comes up, Tamar blurts, “I just have my own opinion because everybody says she’s the new Mariah, but I don’t agree with them because Mariah’s my icon. So there’s one Mariah! But Ariana can sing her face off,” Tamar says, laughing.
