Dare to bare! Tara Reid looked happy and carefree as she showed off her taut tummy at a charity event in Santa Monica, Calif., on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The Sharknado star wore a plain white tank top, snug black leather jeans, and a camo-colored trucker hat to support The Heroes Project at the beachside fete.
Reid, 39, famously received two botched plastic surgery procedures back in 2004 — including breast implants and a body contouring procedure gone bad.
“My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing,” she told Us back in 2006 of the embarrassing surgical snafu. “I had a hernia, this huge bump next to my bellybutton. As a result, I couldn’t wear a bikini. I lost a lot of work.”
Earlier this year, however, Reid rang in the New Year in her birthday suit, causing a stir on social media after she posted a shot of herself nude in a hammock in Tulum, Mexico.
Then, a few days later, the former American Pie actress posted shots of herself in a skimpy bikini taking a dip inside a cave while on her Mexican getaway.
One commenter suggested Reid had used Photoshop on the images, noting that the actress’ waist shape looked like it had been altered.
In November 2014, Reid defended her body to haters, telling TMZ that she’s “just a small-boned girl.”
“I eat, I eat, I eat,” she said. “Some people eat too much, [and] you yell at them that they’re fat. You want to get mad at me because I’m skinny? Great, get mad at me. I am what I am.”
