Prison pals! Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice revealed in a new interview that her husband, Joe Giudice, met fellow incarcerated Real Househusband Apollo Nida in jail.

“Yes, they’ve met, and Joe said he was really nice,” Teresa, 44, told Amy Phillips on the Thursday, July 7, edition of the Reality Checked radio show.

As previously reported, Joe began his 41-month prison sentence for fraud at New Jersey’s Fort Dix Correctional Institution on March 23. (He’s already had five months taken off his time behind bars.) Nida, 37, the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Phaedra Parks, reported to the same facility in September 2014 to serve an eight-year sentence for fraud.

While they share a reality-TV connection, Teresa told Phillips that her hubby, 44, had no idea who Nida was before the two were introduced.

“‘Cause my husband didn’t know who he was, ’cause he doesn’t watch the show, so when he got there he met him, and he was really nice,” the mom of four, who completed her own 11-month jail sentence for fraud in December, continued. “They met up, so it was nice. I don’t know if they’re in the same area, but they definitely met. So Joe said he was a really cool guy.”

Back in March, Parks, 42, who called it quits with Nida in 2014 after nearly five years of marriage, offered advice for Tre on how to deal with sending the father of her children off to the slammer.

“My advice is always just to [be] prayerful and to just know that you’re not alone,” the Georgia resident — who shares sons Ayden, 6, and Dylan, 3, with Nida — told the Daily Dish. “My husband nor her husband are the first husbands to go to prison, they won’t be the last. And you know the most important thing are her children, those beautiful daughters that they have together. And this too shall pass.”
