Blending in doesn’t come naturally to Teresa Giudice. As one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the 42-year-old Bravo-lebrity is used to making a splash. But that’s exactly what she doesn’t want to do now that she’s in prison for fraud at Danbury, Connecticut’s Federal Correctional Institution.
As her fellow inmates reveal exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly, the recently incarcerated reality star is doing her best to be just another prisoner — to no avail, it seems. “All anyone is talking about is that woman — even the staff,” one insider tells Us of the mom of four daughters.
As previously reported, Giudice surrendered for her 15-month sentence in the early hours of Monday, Jan. 5. In the week or so since then, she’s tried to learn to navigate her new social circle.
Says one source: “The vultures who want to be her bestie were all over her.”
