Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter, Suri Noelle, is following in her parents’ footsteps.
Suri, 20, is set to star in Midsummer!, which is a modern-day take on William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. According to Page Six, Suri, who is a student at Carnegie Mellon University, is performing alongside classmates at the Trust Arts Education Center’s Peirce Studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The play will air for 90 minutes and run through July 31 to August 1 before heading for Scotland and performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from August 7 to August 31.
Page Six also reported that Suri, who graduated from LaGuardia High School in New York City in 2024, is studying musical theater in the university’s drama school.

Before sending Suri off to college, Holmes, 47, opened up about her daughter’s next chapter. “I’m proud of my daughter,” she told Town & Country in August 2024. “Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy.”
She continued, “I remember being this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.”
Holmes welcomed Suri in 2006 with Cruise, 64, whom she tied the knot with in 2006. In 2012, the actress filed for divorce. The pair settled their divorce that same year.
Holmes got candid about motherhood in 2014 while chatting with People, gushing, “Motherhood means everything to me.” She noted that her “patience has grown” since welcoming Suri, and that she was “learning every day.”
“Between tickle fights and glitter art, I try to throw in some manners along the way. I try to have good manners too, so that’s what she sees,” Holmes said. “I also try to be very creative with her, because I know she’s an artist, and that speaks to the girl in me.”
Holmes continued, sharing that she isn’t a huge fan of some games, but is all in on craft days: “To be honest? I’m not going to play tag, probably. That’s not top of my list. But I’ll paint all day, I’ll do the creative stuff.”
She also shared that her “main goal” is for Suri to know how much her mom loves her. “Just to let her know that she is so loved. When that’s the through line, who cares that my first two pancakes are always burned?”
