Ouuuuuch! Star quarterback Tony Romo broke his collarbone during the Dallas Cowboys' game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 20.

Romo, 35, was sacked by Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks, forcing a fumble during the third quarter of the game. The Cowboys announced that the athlete had suffered a broken left clavicle, the same body part that the football player injured in the fall of 2010. At the time, the injury left Romo sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Footage showed Romo — who previously dated Jessica Simpson and is now married to Chace Crawford's sister Candice — mouthing "it's broken" as he was walked off the field. Fox Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews said that the quarterback came out of the X-ray room clutching his arm.

Meanwhile, Cowboys fans and fantasy football participants aired their grievances via Twitter after the devastating injury. Last week, another star Dallas player, Dez Bryant, injured his foot. He could be out until December.
