Twinsies — together again! Arnold Schwarzenegger reunited with his Twins costar Danny DeVito, onstage at the Golden Camera awards show in Hamburg, Germany, this past weekend.

The Terminator actor, 67, was at the ceremony on Feb. 27, to receive the International Lifetime Achievement honor, which was presented to him by none other than DeVito, 70. The two pals exchanged a warm handshake and hug, and the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star grinned at his old friend during his special moment.

A source tells Us Weekly that Schwarzenegger was “misty eyed” as he thanked DeVito for being at the awards ceremony abroad.

In his speech, the star encouraged aspiring actors in the crowd, telling them not to give up hope. Schwarzenegger then dedicated the honor to the countless dreamers trying to enter the film business, telling his fans: “Do not give up!”

His latest reunion with DeVito comes 27 years after the release of their beloved and wildly successful 1988 comedy, in which the two starred as fraternal twins. The surprise hit directed by Ivan Reitman grossed more than $216 million worldwide, and fans at the event were excited to hear him say he was “looking forward” to shooting the sequel Triplets later this year.

While there was some movement on the sequel front in 2012, the project is on a temporary hiatus. The follow-up is titled Triplets, and was supposed to star Eddie Murphy as Schwarzenegger and DeVito’s brother. Josh Gad co-wrote the script and provided an update this past January in a Reddit AMA on the film’s exact status.

“Uh, you know… the script is actually done. Everybody agrees that it’s great,” Gad told fans. “We wound up doing 2 drafts. Universal, I think, hit the pause button temporarily for whatever reason — internally I think they are trying to figure out if they want to do a sequel or not. I would say if there’s an outpouring of affection, that may move the needle, but I think it’s on hold right now. But everybody read the script and loved it, so I hope it sees the light of day at some point. It’s there and in great shape.”
