Tyler, The Creator isn't going to have many great memories from this year's SXSW Festival. The rapper was arrested on Saturday, March 15 for inciting riots at the Austin, Texas concert earlier this week, TMZ reports.
The 23-year-old entertainer was put in handcuffs while at an airport in Texas, the site reports, after allegedly peer pressuring hundreds of fans to break down a barricade at the concert on Thursday. Police tell TMZ that the incident "encouraged behavior causing immediate danger and injury to persons." He is in custody on a $3,500 bond.
As previously reported, an alleged drunk driver crashed through barricades at the South By Southwest music festival on Thursday shortly before Tyler, The Creator was supposed to take the stage at a nearby venue. "Show Isnt Happening, Something Sad Happened. I'm Bummed," he tweeted at the time.
The crash killed two people and hurt 23 others. The driver faces two counts of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault.
