Unexpected star Bella Vaughn has a new man in her life.
“There’s so many reasons to be happy, but you’re definitely my favorite one,” Bella, 16, wrote over a mirror selfie shared via TikTok on Monday, November 2. In the next slide, the teen added a photo of a 7 Brew drink and wrote, “Oops wrong picture.”
In a third slide, Bella shared a selfie with her boyfriend, Ashton, whom she tagged in the caption.
“Is this how you hard launch?” she wrote.
Bella also has Ashton’s name in her bio with a blue heart, while Ashton has hers listed with a white heart.
Bella’s announcement comes five months after she split from Hunter Johnson, her former fiancé and the father of her 19-month-old son, Wes.
Bella and Hunter, 14, who made their reality TV debut on season 7 of TLC’s Unexpected earlier this year, welcomed their son in March 2025. The pair later announced their engagement this May.
“From promise ring to engagement ring, I’ll forever love you, Hunter, Wesley and I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together🥹💋#tlcunexpected #teenmom #engagement #15andpregnant💙 #fiance,” she captioned a TikTok post at the time.
Weeks later, Bella revealed that she and Hunter had called it quits.
“This is the video I have been asked to make a million times to finally address it, and yes, we did break up,” she said in a TikTok video. “I won’t go into detail why, but he lied to me and hurt my feelings, and two days later was talking to someone new. It was not a big deal, so yeah, there was no drama, no tea behind it.”
Bella’s mom, Falen, added that she and Hunter planned to “coparent” their son.
Bella concluded, “Please don’t go attacking anyone, including us. I am better off on my own.”
The split didn’t last long, as Bella revealed in late June that they were back together.
“We back bby,” she wrote over a photo of herself on a date night with Hunter.
It’s unclear when the pair split for the second time.
Bella and Hunter made headlines as the youngest couple to appear on Unexpected. The former was 15 when she gave birth, while the latter was 13. (Bella revealed via social media ahead of the season’s premiere that Hunter was 12 when they conceived.)
“I understand he was sexually ready faster than I was, and that’s OK, but I was ready when we had sex,” she said in a TikTok video in February amid backlash over their ages. “You can all stop saying that it was illegal and that I raped him because I didn’t. It was both intentional. On both sides, people have already said that. We’ve already talked to the cops about it. It was consensual.”
Bella continued, “I did not ruin Hunter’s life. I gave, when I found that I was pregnant, I gave him the option. I said, ‘If you can’t do this or you don’t want to be here, that is fine. I understand we’re both very young, but I can do this on my own or with you. It’s your decision. Whatever you choose, I’m fine with.’ He chose to stay with me. He chose to take care of our baby.”
