A lucky escape. Vicki Gunvalson has thanked fans for their thoughts and prayers as news emerged of her and Tamra Judge‘s emergency airlift after a dune buggy they were traveling in rolled over.
Posting on Facebook in the early hours of Monday, April 4, the Real Housewives of Orange County star Gunvalson confirmed she’d been involved in a scary incident, and even shared a photograph of the emergency helicopter coming in to whisk her off to the hospital.
“Thank you everyone for your prayers,” the 54-year-old reality star wrote. ” #itwasntourtime @tamrajudge, @heatherdubrow,” she added.
According to TMZ, who first reported the accident, both Judge and Gunvalson ended up in the hospital after a day of joyriding in the California desert went wrong.
Police told the outlet that the accident happened in Glamis, California, on Saturday, April 2, when the Polaris RZR the women were riding in rolled over multiple times while filming footage for their hit reality show.
Despite being airlifted to a nearby hospital, Gunvalson was released the following morning with no major injuries — a piece of news that might be particularly pleasing to a certain cowboy!
As Us Weekly reported in February, the RHOC star seems to have a new man in her life. Evidently managing to move on from her troubled past with ex Brooks Ayers, Gunvalson has been sharing a lot of pictures of a certain Jack Losey on her Instagram feed.
The reality star even jetted to Scottsdale, Arizona, in February to spend time him and his three children.
