If you thought you knew Taylor Swift, think again. The pop superstar, 26, invited Vogue inside her home, where she took the fashion magazine on a tour of her luxe L.A. digs as she participated in the publication’s famed “73 Questions” video series.
In the nearly 10-minute clip, Swift rattles off a slew of previously unknown random tidbits about herself. For example: “I can’t do a cartwheel or a handstand.”
The “Blank Space” singer, who famously coined the term "Swiftmas" after treating superfans to Christmas gifts in 2014, reveals that the best compliment she’s ever received is “that [she’s] generous.” The Grammy winner also touches on the best present she’s ever been given — a token of love from Calvin Harris: “My boyfriend planted an olive tree in my yard for Christmas.”
Asked about her most memorable career moment so far, Swift says, “I think filming the 'Bad Blood' video was my favorite memory.”
Her pre-show rituals? “I stretch, I warm up my voice and then my band and dancers get in a huddle and it’s just good vibes.”
Swift also lets Vogue meet her beloved cat Meredith, but her other famous feline, Olivia, is MIA.
On the topic of fashion, she says she would raid gal pal Blake Lively’s closet and declares her favorite trend of all time is “high-waisted stuff.”
Then things take a serious turn as the former country starlet opens up about the advice she would give her 19-year-old self. She says: “If I could talk to myself at 19, I would say, ‘Hey, you’re gonna date just like a normal 20-something should be allowed to, but you’re going to be a national lightning rod for slut-shaming.’”
