Where Do Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt Stand After Their Split? Inside Their Relationship Now (Exclusive)

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are “moving forward” after their split, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.

“Their communication has improved,” the same insider shares, noting that the exes are “having productive conversations” in regards to coparenting.

“They’ve been working together on parenting,” the source adds. “Pete has adjusted his schedule to be there for their daughter.” As for the romantic aspect of their relationship, “Pete and Elsie both wanted [the relationship] to work and it didn’t.”

Us confirmed the pair were dating in March 2025. Several months later, Hewitt, 30, announced in July 2025 that she and Davidson, 30, were expecting their first baby. They welcomed their daughter, Scottie, that December.

Davidson is “very involved” in Scottie’s life, a second source shares.

“His friends were very confused by this totally false narrative that was being pushed that he’s absent or uninvolved,” they add. “He feels that’s just not the reality of the situation. He has also been financially supporting both of them.”

As the new year kicked off, rumors swirled that the pair were headed for a split. Us confirmed earlier this month that Davidson and Hewitt went their separate ways, with a separate source noting it’s “very unlikely” they will reconcile.

The first insider tells Us that Davidson is “definitely disappointed” that things didn’t work out between him and Hewitt.

“He felt they were definitely in love and in it for the long run so it’s a bummer to him to be a single dad now,” they explain. “They had many plans for the future.”

Us has reached out to Davidson and Hewitt’s teams for comment.

Hewitt made headlines earlier this month after sharing a TikTok video claiming she’s been parenting “on my own” following her split from Davidson. The actress was reacting to paparazzi photos that showed her on a walk with Scottie wearing sunglasses and an oversized hoodie.

“Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m exhausted, OK?” she said. “I should’ve left the house looking nicer yesterday. I should’ve known that that was going to happen.”

Hewitt added, “That’s not what I’m thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of. And I also have to work and make money, and I’m doing it on my own, which is hard.”

When asked by commenters to clarify what she meant, Hewitt said she is providing for their daughter alone.

A separate source reiterated to Us at the time that Davidson is “fully financially supporting” both Scottie and Hewitt.

“He’s very present in the baby’s life,” the insider explained. “He wants nothing but the best for Elsie and he shoulders all of the financial costs, including the costs for Elsie, her rent and her health insurance.”

The source added, “Elsie’s posts caught everyone around them off guard because they are simply not true.”
